About Black Buff Safaris
Black Buff Safaris is situated deep in the heart of the warm African bushveld in the Limpopo province of South Africa. Close to the small town of Alldays. With luxurious accommodation and hunting facilities, we cater for both rifle and bow hunting experiences.
The hunting area covers 50,000 acres, and we have concessions in other hunting areas as well. The climate in the area is very hot in the summer months and can reach temperatures of 52 degrees Celsius. In the winter months, it can be cold during the nights and early mornings with moderate warm temperatures during the day. We offer a wide range of species that can be hunted and more details can be obtained on request.
Professional Hunter, André Botes
My name is André Botes and I was born deaf. I can only communicate via sign language, my writing skills is not that good in English but I do not allow that to hold me back. My home language is Afrikaans but I try to communicate in English. I am also able to read lips. I am a very skilled hunter and my disability has not prevented me from hunting. I live in South Africa and Black Buff Safaris is a business that I call my own. Through my journey as a professional hunter I always believed that learning how to hunt without my own justification ever be a factor, I believe that there is always a reason to hunt.

Sunset Safari
When the African sun sets, a hidden world of nocturnal predators and elusive small species emerges—and Black Buff Safaris specializes in pursuing these rare night-time trophies. With exclusive access to over 60,000 acres in Limpopo and the Eastern Cape, they offer targeted hunts for species such as small cats, bushpig, honey badger, brown and spotted hyena, civet, genet and more, using top-tier equipment, baited stations with solar lighting, and trail-camera monitoring for precise planning. Their advanced night-hunting methods, including spotlighting, make them one of Southern Africa’s leading specialists, providing collectors with a thrilling opportunity to pursue hard-to-find species, with additional daytime hunting available on request.
The Tiny Ten
Hunt the coveted Tiny Ten across South Africa and Namibia, where some of the continent’s most challenging and rewarding pygmy antelope hunts await. These delicate, wary species (most under 25kg) are spread across Southern Africa, we offer five of them in their natural home range of the Soutpansberg Mountains: Common Duiker, Klipspringer, Red Duiker, Sharpes Grysbok and Steenbok. Each species requires a unique approach, using different calls and both day and night hunting depending on their activity patterns. With a variety of concessions near the main lodge north of Polokwane, hunters will explore diverse terrain, targeting species that are notoriously elusive and habitat-specific. While small-caliber rifles are ideal for these tiny antelope.
